Azulen paste was my go-to product as a teenager to support clear skin. Now my teen I using work the same wonderful results. I appreciate the high quality products of the Dr. E brand and would w recommend azulene paste.

I really like the consistency and scent. The cream doesn't really help with my inflammation, but it doesn't harm either. I won't buy it again, but I use it occasionally at night as a moisturizer. For the inflamed areas, I use a different cream. Maybe it works better for others. At least it hasn't made my issues worse, which is something.

The ointment is gently dabbed onto the pimples. The effect is good. The ointment dries and heals the affected areas.

My boyfriend swears by this paste, so I wanted to give it a try. I must say that the paste itself is very thick and green. Personally, I find it quite greasy and it doesn’t absorb well. I applied it in the evening before going to bed and then washed off the remnants with water in the morning. My skin is quite sensitive and often feels tight after washing, and the thick, greasy feeling of the paste unfortunately didn’t provide any anti-inflammatory or cleansing effect on my blemishes. Half of the tube is now empty, and I’ve stopped using it because my blemishes go away just as quickly without the paste, and I prefer clean, unmarked bed linens without sticky hair on my face.

On the plus side, I think it smells nice (albeit uniquely) and the packaging feels high-quality.

I've known this product for 15 years; I first got it from a beautician for my teenage acne. Now, in my mid-30s, I still occasionally struggle with huge pimples that take days to develop and often become inflamed after popping, remaining visibly noticeable for a long time. I'm glad to have rediscovered this product on Amazon. The scent is still the same—somewhat unusual but not unpleasant. The effectiveness has also remained unchanged; when applied regularly to emerging pimples, the paste helps either stop them in their tracks or dries them out enough that a single press resolves the issue. When applied to already popped pimples, the Azulen Paste significantly accelerates healing. After 1-2 days, there’s nothing left to see. I absolutely recommend it, despite the slightly higher price. The paste is very economical since it’s applied only to specific spots. I believe it will last at least a year.

The color on the skin takes some getting used to, but I only use it in the evening, and it really helps very well and quickly!
